Podfic: Of Dice and Jen(sen)

I recorded podfic for 7pennies (aka countess7 and pennyplainknits) in the inaugural Podbang challenge, and being me, I had to go for a 70k fic. *eyeroll* Having done it, I can now back up and try a short one, see about getting a better sound quality and really learning how to edit without overwhelming myself.

I think it's a tolerable first effort, even though to me I sound like a schoolteacher reading in church on canadian TV. And I'm very, very glad to have completed and posted something.

Thanks so much for you comment! I'm glad to know that the pace worked for you, and that some emotional acting came through, especially since I love the care the author took to really show what Jensen is feeling. It was challenging to get that across while he was slipping in and out of Dean.

And, yup, canadian as charged. I think all the different readers' accents are half the fun of listening to podfic!

Also, I (finally!) just left some feedback on In From The Cold, but I wanted to make sure to stop by and leave you some feedback specifically. That's one of my favorite podfics ever, and I listen to it a lot when I'm falling asleep at night. I love your reading of Jensen SO MUCH! omg, there is just something about the way you read his POV--you capture him incredibly perfectly, and you make me want to wrap him up in a hug and comfort him. <3 <3 <3 <3 I listen to that podfic--particularly scenes in Jensen's POV--so much and I find it immensely comforting! I think your reading of Jensen is my single favorite performance in a podfic. That is how much I love it. <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3
